Criminal Law is the body

of law that regulates governmental sanctions such as imprisonment and/or fines as retaliation for crimes against the social order, goal of this process; achieving criminal justice for society, law firms are very knowledgeable of this law.

The laws of this and every other state in the United States of America are complicated despite attempts to simplify them. There is statutory law and common law. A statute is a law passed by a legislative body whether it be municipal, state, or, federal. A common law is that law which encompasses the statute and its interpretation by a court of competent jurisdiction. The courts interpret the statutes passed by its legislative body thereby giving it definition. And, the United States Supreme Court is the only judicial body that has the authority to determine the constitutionality or unconstitutionality of a body of law.

All laws are a blending of rights and wrongs; Rights and Duties, imposed on the public, whether they be citizens or not. For example, every person has a duty to act reasonably and with due care. It is when this duty is breached and damages arise that the law demands a remedy. Another example, a person runs a red light and strikes another thereby injuring him. The law demands adequate compensation be given for the injuries suffered by the victim.

This would be a civil matter. The criminal aspect arises because the traffic violation in our example is a violation against the state or public. Thus, we run into issues regarding whether an act is criminal, civil, or, both. This requires an analysis that only one who has the education and experience can handle.
